An aging platform serving 175 subscribing customer organizations needed to be rebuilt. There was no usable source code. The starting point was a relational-database backup and the client's product requirements document.

The client needed a working replacement for an existing product, with its data and customer relationships carried forward. Rebuilding the system meant reconstructing the required behavior without relying on the original source code.

Stripe billing was rebuilt around a single flat-rate plan, replacing three legacy one-time and annual tiers.
